This is the name of the elite hacker that was arrested in Montreal located in the great nation of Canada. Supposedly, 2600, a hacker magazine, created this character to prove a point. I think the entire thing is baloney. The crime was the denial of service attacks in which many web servers, such as Yahoo!, CNN, AOL, and other websites were brought down for a few hours. With very little information, a member of the 2600 staff decided to go on IRC. I still don't know how anyone could find this mafiaboy, because now there are hundreds of people on IRC, ICQ, AOL, and other various services that go by the name mafiaboy. I also have to say I have spoken to a handful of people that have gone by this name before the denial of service attacks.
