The state or quality of being malignant; extreme malevolence; bitter enmity; malice; as, malignancy of heart.

Unfavorableness; evil nature.

Virulence; tendency to a fatal issue; as, the malignancy of an ulcer or of a fever.

The state of being a malignant.
