This is really good, very rich and wonderful. Also fattening, but do not think of that while you eat it, as nothing should detract from the fudgy goodness. Makes me wish I had the ingredients in my kitchen right now.

1 lb. confectioners sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 tablespoon vanilla
optional 1/2 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans are best, chopped into wee pieces)

Blend the sugar and cocoa with a whisk in a microwave safe bowl.
Put the butter right on top of the dry mixture.
Pour the milk over the butter and DO NOT STIR IT UP.
Microwave on HIGH for two minutes.
Add vanilla and optional nuts.
Stir it well to blend everything.
Pour this into a buttered casserole dish.

If you want everything to be smooth you can lay a piece of waxed paper right on the delicious goo and smooth it around with the back of a spoon. You can leave the paper on until it sets. Put this in the refrigerator until it is firm enough to cut into squares.

I hear you could freeze this if you wanted but there is never any left over at my house so I have never tried that.
