The quality of maintaining a meditative state while performing some activity. One of the most well-known activities is Tai Chi, though there are many other ways one can do this. There are stories of shaolin monks who walk up and down a mountain, every few steps prostrating themselves then rising again to take a few more steps, the whole way up and down. Many accounts of being in deep hack mode also echo the spirit of moving meditation.

The purpose for this exercise is to maintain focus despite outside influence. Tai Chi derives its power from the strength of the practicioner's concentration and form. I can't remember where I read it, but another account described a Chinese village, where the men would gather in the town square at dawn to meditate together. The account cited their ability to weave meditation into every aspect of their lives as the reason for their happiness despite less than comfortable existance.
