Indicative of cramming junk food into one's mouth in vanilla usage. In BDSM usage it's an innocuous meeting of perverts to get together and eat. Nearly every major city in the Untied States hosts regular munches these days.

mumble = M = munching

munch vt.

[often confused with mung, q.v.] To transform information in a serial fashion, often requiring large amounts of computation. To trace down a data structure. Related to crunch and nearly synonymous with grovel, but connotes less pain.

Munch (?), v. t. & i. [imp. & p. p. Munched (?); p. pr. & vb. n. Munching.] [Prob. akin to mumble: cf. also F. manger to eat (cf. Mange), and macher to cher (cf. Masticate). See Mumble.]

To chew with a grinding, crunching sound, as a beast chews provender; to chew deliberately or in large mouthfuls.

[Formerly written also maunch and mounch.]

I could munch your good dry oats. Shak.
