Mythic reality is one term given to that sense of heightened awareness during one can perceive mundane reality and spiritual reality as a single reality or as inseparably intermingled with one dominant but the other phased-in and only slightly less present.

Some cultures have lived in near-constant mythic reality. Others, such as Merkins, only experience this during artificially altered states of consciousness.
