The act of devouring the dead.

Although possibly frowned upon in western society, necrophagy makes economic sense from a purely objective point of view. When ignoring any supposed sanctity of the human body, a person's flesh is just another form of meat, the consumption of which is no worse than any other dead animal.

Necrophagy is a phenomenon commonly witnessed in B-grade survival movies invloving an aeroplane crash in some isolated wilderness. As the survivors get increasingly desperate with hunger, they must consider all possibilities.

One convincing argument against necrophagy is the existence of prions. (Thanks to Gone Jackal).
