Very small type of computer, usually designed to complement a desktop PC. The three most common types are the PalmPilot from 3com, the Psion series, and Windows CE devices. They are becoming more and more powerful and have an increasing range of applications. Combined with a mobile telephone it is possible to have internet access anywhere you can use your phone.
