fear,
apprehension, or
hatred of
police and/or
police officers.
This word and its alternate
policophobia are not true
scientific terms, but instead are informal terms of common
humor,
slang and
conversation. The words are often used informally by
politicians,
comedians,
authors and
artists.
Astynomiaphobia, is the official psychological term for "fear of police", though it is only
seldom used.
