A cartoon by Frode Øverli.

Pondus means a little sloppy in Norwegian. The cartoon circles around Pondus' and his friend Jokke's main interests: soccer, beer and fishing. Jokke has the habit of picking up the ugliest women known to mankind, usually while being drunk -- but not always.

Other characters include Pondus' wife, his son Påsan, Jokke's mother and her fiance Gunther the dwarf.

Pondus is a hilarious cartoon, with Jokke and the "women" as a guideline. No other cartoon has made me laugh this much.

Frode Øverli's works include Birger-Egil and other cartoons from Pyton, a Norwegian humour magazine.
