Working in the
computer graphics industry means you work
long hours. Your
breaks are often based on when you set off a
render, because your machine is busy. Since rendering can sometimes take a long time, you walk around, see what others are doing, check your
E-mail, catch up on some reading, or whatever...
If you work somewhere with a render farm, you lose this built-in breaktime. A mixed blessing for sure, but one tradeoff that's worth it. I don't think I can go back to the extremely long render wanders. Now I just have to remember to take breaks on my own. (What?! I haven't gotten up for over six hours?)
