A Sega Master System game, Rescue Mission is quite easily one of the most innovative light-gun games ever. In the game, you ride in a helicopter - although you never see it, as you spend the entire game looking down from it. A rail track carries a manual car, which stops for injured soldiers along the way. Enemies will try to kill the injured. You must kill them first. You must not miss, or you will kill the people you are trying to save. As the game goes on, it gets more complex - you must shoot projectiles out of the air, switches that cause the train to go down the correct track, and so on. Sadly, Sega has not decided to Sequel this game. Perhaps it is for the better - Sequelitis has wrecked many game series.
