roadster

Strictly speaking, a car with no roll-up windows and a completely removable top. The windows are usually plexiglass inserts. In England, this is known as an OTS (open two seater). Examples include early Jaguars and Austin-Healeys. Not to be confused with convertibles or DHCs (drop-head coupes).
