I tend to think that these people have more
guts than any of the cowboys riding the rampantly
hostile livestock. It is there job to distract a bull after the rider is off, and to calm a horse after the ride is over.
They often take a stab with horns for the cowboy, god only knows why they feel this is
a good idea. I guess they are being
valiant.. or is it.. insane? Either way, they do some pretty gutsy stuff.
The clowns have barrells that they can hide in and wear really
colorful clothing to distract the animals further. They wear the make up, too, and are an important part of most rodeos. They get hurt an awful lot, which makes me wonder why they would bother..
they must really love it, or something.
