I keep the drapes pulled back, to catch the breeze,
I keep a vase on a dresser, for the tulips you bring home
I keep chocolates in the pantry, within reach
I keep your perfume on my jacket (it was foldedup for a pillow)
I keep your photo as a bookmark, holding my place
I keep your music in the box: random and repeat
and I keep the sound of your whispers, too
but I keep it to myself.
