True story on salad debugging:

A friend was attending an academic meeting at an institute in the Black Forest.

After dinner he started to feel ill and vomitted for 24 hours.

Just as he reached the point when he realised he would surely die he regurgitated a bug of some sort, maybe a caterpillar.

When he got back from the conference he went to his doctor to show her the bug which he had kept in a plastic bag.

She laughed at him for five minutes.

From this we conclude that you should always check the salad and that doctors are treacherous.
