an adapter which allows you to hook a vga output from a computer to a s-video or composite connection to a television. Used mainly for presentations and whatnot, but is also fun for playing quake on a big tv. Also available as an option or feature on some video cards. Usually only good for resoloutions such as 640x480 and 800x600 as most tvs can barley cough up 500 lines of resoloution. Basicly it takes the VGA signal, interlaces it and combines the colors into a composite, or combines into chroma and luma for s-video.
