Nature is highly sexual, and this seems to horrify a lot of humans who don't want to believe sex exists. Take flowers for example. They celebrate their sexuality blatantly. Flowers are basically the genitals of a plant. People who long for the sexual ease of nature are prone to display plant genitals in all their phallocentrism in the home, or give them to lovers. While we are afraid of showing our own private parts, we happily flaunt the pistil and stamen in some kind of dismembered botanical porn show. I keep getting this image of the planet of the flower-creatures, where the flowers go about celebrating life by giving each other gifts of castrated male members, and corsages adorned with a carefully pruned vulva with just a hint of suggestive clit-hood.
