In craps, the person with the dice, either coming out, or trying to make the point. The shooter keeps rolling the dice until he or she sevens out.

A genre of video game which involves your avatar shooting enemies or other obstacles at a frantic pace. Some basic features of a shooter:

Power Ups: things to make you do more damage, run faster, or otherwise improve your effectivness while playing.

bosses and sub bosses: Large enemies requiring a great deal of shooting to defeat (as well as identifiying and exploiting some basic weakness of the boss. Smart Bomb: appears in various forms but generally involves killing all enemies on screen at once or at least causing heavy damage.

A Shooter is an alcoholic drink which consists of a mixture of at least one alcohol and at least one mixer, and sold in a shot glass. One or more alcohols with no mixer is still a shot; if you have an alcohol and a mixer in a larger glass, it's a cocktail.
