A singletype is a common term in the empowered multiple community uses to refer to "normal people", or people that are not multiple or in a multiple system. Other terms synonymous with singletype are a bit insulting: monomind, singleton, and singlet have all been used. Another word that enjoyed brief popularity was "snarfplat", in the theory that a made-up word will not sound derogatory.
