Some people complain that the
United States Government doesn't provide enough for its citizens. I really can't understand why, when we have
agencies around like the
EPA who provide information like the smog alert.
The Smog Alert is a service provided by the EPA, free of charge, in association with your state government which will automatically give you warning of high concentration of ground-level ozone. That's smog.
Smog Alerts are sent out when the predicted ozone concentration exceeds 0.085 ppm in the 8 hour average standard. The alert is delivered via email or fax. If you would like to sign up for the Smog Alert in your area, head on over to the EPA's website.
