"srgmpdn" or SaReGaMaPaDaNi

The carnatic music is one of the most popular genre in South India or the Dravidian India. According to this music the seven notes Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Da and Ni are building blocks of all other tunes or Raga.

These seven notes are also known as Sapta Swarangal (In Sanskrit, Sapta = Seven, Swara = Notes). The carnatic music compositions abide to rules of Raga and Thala.
