The idea or assertion that exactly zero deities exist. The belief that monotheists believe in one too many deities.

While atheism is a lack of belief -- the lack of belief in any deity -- strong atheism is a belief.

Strong atheism is also called dogmatic atheism. A profession of strong or dogmatic atheism is as problematic as the profession of supernatural belief, as neither assertion can be proved.
