A subject complement is a part of a sentence that describes or identifies the subject. It can be a noun, adjective, adverb, or noun clause, complete with their optional modifiers.
Subject complements usually follow a linking verb.
Some examples of subject complements:
- Coca-Cola is addicting.
- His problem is that he missed the last three Invader ZIM episodes.
- This is my last example.
In a

backslash.
