The steps of Surface Run Off:
First precipitation falls to the Earth's surface in the form of rain, snow, sleet, or hail.
Second water from this fallen precipitation flows downslope along Earth's surface.
Third it travels and eventually enters into a lake, stream, river, or lake if not absorbed by the ground.
These steps continue as the water cycle repeats it self.
Conditions:
Runoff occurs commonly in down pours near Hills or Mts. With elevation not even.
Runoff will not occur unless the ground does not let the water seep.
Definition: Surface Run Off: Water glides down the Earth's surface on a slope.
