The Luggage is an artifact (or perhaps a character?) from Terry Pratchett's Discworld. It resembles a large wooden steamer trunk, with a few special features:

First, it is made of sapient pearwood, one of the most magical materials on the Disc, and is itself almost completely impervious to magical attacks. Second, it follows its owner around practically anywhere (and I do mean ANYWHERE, even through time and space) on hundreds of tiny legs. Third, it has the ability to clean and press any laundry placed inside it. Fourth, it is fiercely protective of its owner, and malignantly apathetic about everyone else, and will thus trample, devour, or otherwise eliminate anyone it perceives as a threat to said owner.

The Luggage was first owned by Twoflower, the Discworld's first tourist, whom we meet in The Colour of Magic. While items similar to The Luggage can be bought in the insanely wealthy Agatean Empire, Twoflower claims to have bought his in a Mysterious Wandering Shop. After the events of The Light Fantastic, the Luggage began following Rincewind the Wizzard around, joining him in his various (mis)adventures.
