A man walked the government subsidized interstate highway system with the ever expanding entirety of his life sprawling behind him like the tail of a gigantic peacock. He would occasionally walk through a town and for continuously increasing lengths of time afterward the inhabitants would see the sprawl of this life being dragged through their streets.

These lengths of his life he perpetually shed came to eclipse him so much so that the man was rarely acknowledged to exist. Rather, people would acknowledge the physical manifestation of his histories perpetually inching their way through the maze of streets and highway systems like a gigantic serpent. The weight of his life grew until it eventually pulled him under and sloughed off toward the sea.
