watery time capsule with a switch. clear plastic. 8 inches tall. heavy base. thick, black lid. empty but for water.

hit the switch and it lights up, lit from above, and a tiny, off-center fan on the bottom starts spinning. from the top, tentative purple beads dip a bit, poke, prod, explore a little further and as the vortex takes over, the purples leap to the bottom, tiny orange beads following from where they were floating above, squirting downward through the writhing spout like a vanload of ravers.

the beads hit the tiny fan at the bottom, over which the vortex is necessarily centered, and pop out to the sides, where they float back up to the top.

hours of endless fun!
