Gaelic phrase, pronounced ISH-ka BAH-huh, meaning "water of life". From this phrase derives the English word whiskey/whisky, and it is still common in Ireland, Scotland and other countries with Gaelic heritage, to refer to whiskey as uisce beatha, or some local variant of this term.
