A collection of GNU utilities ported to the Win32 platform (Win9X and WinNT). Unlike cygwin, they do not require a special library to run; they can be used standalone and in .BAT files.
These tools are an excellent introduction to "The Unix Way" for Windows-only users. All are command-line tools and make full use of pipe streams (| > <). The following GNU packages are implemented (as of 2001.07.07): Extra tools: pclip and gclip pipe the stdin/stdout to and from the Windows Clipboard for better integration with GUI applications.
