Combination of the words "vegetable" and "chocolate"

Term proposed by the French for chocolate containing vegetable fats other than cocoa butter, as part of the 27-year battle over chocolate labelling and sales in the European Union

Euroskeptics in Britain claimed (incorrectly) that the EU accepted the term vegelate as a legitimate description of British milk chocolate.

The European Union agreed on the term "family milk chocolate" in March of 2000, allowing British milk chocolate to be sold on the Continent for the first time since the UK joined the EU.
