Either a humorous expression, or a statement of deep and profound truth. Quite possibly both, at once. E2 already knows that "all my friends are nonconformists. they all dress like me.", but the true irony of this expression, and the vast number of people it applies to, has not fully been explored. An easy way to test the conjecture posed by the title of this node is to approach a group of goths and ask them "Are you like, nonconformist or something?" and watch them instantly assert amongst themselves that of course they are. This will also lead to them never talking to you again and giving you the evil eye.
