Neologism originated by french philospher Jean-Paul Sartre in his short story The Room. Apparently ziuthre means "hard-bound talisman in the shape of spider." (as babelfished from http://www.lire.fr/enquete.asp?idC=34253) This is all relevant because the english version of the story (specifically the Lloyd Alexander version) leaves the term untranslated.
