In old chestnut: language equations I posted the entire rec.puzzles FAQ/archive entry for these puzzles (like 26 = L. in the A.) but there are lots, lots more of these circulating on the internet. Here I will list other language equations I have found, which are not listed in the rec.puzzles archive and aren't simple variations of those.

Sometimes I have modified these slightly to put them into the canonical Equation Analysis Test form, or to make them correct. Some are US-specific. Some are UK-specific. To keep the list reasonable, I'm ignoring anything that isn't exact, addresses, years, things that can't be written in E.A.T. form, and things that there could be a whole list of, like 1 = Atomic Number of Hydrogen.

Warning: Some of the number links below could spoil the puzzles.
