In Public Radio terminology, a driveway moment is made up of those 5 minutes spent sitting in your car in your driveway, during the last bit of the radio show you've been keenly listening to. This doesn't have to apply to public radio; I'm sure you've all done this with your new favorite song or maybe the last chapter of a book on tape. There's theoretically also a block moment when you drive around the block a couple more times to listen to the radio, but that's not very eco-friendly.
