I just bought a 2001
Celica about 4 hours ago. After intense test driving, I have decided that this is an awesome car. I got a black
Celica GT model, and it's absolutely beautiful.
Now, let me say that I'm a big speed buff/tech head. The GT model comes with the 1.8 liter 140 horsepower 4 cylinder engine. As Apoxybutt stated, the GT-S is a bit faster, but only about 40 horsepower. These additions take up engine space, leaving little room for mods. The GT comes stock standard, leaving enough room for things like superchargers and turbochargers, headers and such. I saw one GT model that had 350 horsepower without replacing the hood. Wwwwooowwww... Not to mention the attention the car attracts.. :) zoom zoom zoom.
