The Everything gland, normally a vestigal organ in humans, can be activated by long, uninterrupted hours of noding about useless and trival information. When stimulated, the Everything Gland secretes copious amounts of a hormone known to scientists as "Some kind of icky brown stuff." This hormone causes a severe psychological reaction in humans which results in self-serving, attention-craving, node-vertising behavior, much like that of the 5 year-old on the diving board. No treatment for this condition has yet been found.
