Small town on the Overlander's Way in Northern Queensland. This tiny town was established more than 100 years ago and was a staging post for Cobb & Co coaches as well as a social gathering point for the graziers whose vast property surround it. It is best known for it's pub, the "Walkabout Creek Hotel" which, together with other buildings in the town, featured in the movie "Crocodile Dundee".
