An Indian acapella group from the University of Pennsylvania. Among other things, they sing the song, "Show Me the Meaning of Being Desi", a hilarious parody of Indian life in the United States. The word masala means spice. They have also made an extremely well edited but poorly acted spoof of a VH1 Behind the Music about themselves.

History
The group was founded in 1996 by a group of freshmen and is the first of its kind. Some of their music was featured on the soundtrack of the movie "American Desi". They have been the inspiration for several other Indian acapella groups including Chai-Town at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
