Frank Wildhorn is a composer, lyricist, and producer.

In 1999, he was the first composer in 22 years to have THREE shows running on Broadway at the same time. He is best known for those musicals: Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and The Civil War.

He started working on Jekyll & Hyde in 1980 when he was 22 years old! The Broadway production of Jekyll & Hyde just closed on January 7, 2001.

His work covers many musical styles (pop, country, rock, jazz, gospel, classical, and r & b. Artists who have recorded his music include Whitney Houston (Where Do Broken Hearts Go), Kenny Rogers (Don't Look In My Eyes), Linda Eder (Something to Believe In, and You Are My Home), Julie Andrews(songs for Victor/Victoria), The Moody Blues, and Molly Hatchet.

Currently he is working on the shows Dracula, The Romantics, and Havana.

He is the director of Atlantic Theatre, a division of Atlantic Records.
