Had a guy approach me today
complaining that our servers were down this morning at 6:02 AM! We had them back up by 6:20 AM. I was not bothered by his complaint, I deal with them all day, but is it necessary to start arguing that when he is working, and the servers go down, it is an
interruption that
distracts him from his job, and that once they are back up, it takes him a while to get focused back on the problem!
So I asked him if he meant that it was a distraction the way he was distracting me, and he replied yes. Damn if he was not as
dense as a
box of rocks and did not get the point that I was trying to work and wanted him to get back to his job that was so damn important!
URGH!
