model).
There will be 2 engine choices for the car, both with a 2.0L displacement, and both
DOHC. The Type-S will have
honda's new
innovation, the i-VTEC engine, the i-VTEC combines a continuously variable cam gear with the proven
VTEC system. This increases
performance, and decreases
emissions. The standard 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC will produce 160
horsepower, while the Type-S will produce 200
horsepower.
The RSX will have fully independent front and rear
suspension, 4-wheel
disc brakes with ABS, and variable assist steering.
