A traditional New Zealand delicacy, served at parties the length and breadth of Aotearoa, Kiwi Dip is made by mixing one pack of powdered onion soup, with one tin of reduced cream (to be truly traditional, the soup shoule be made by Maggi and the cream by Nestle). Some people suggest that seafood soup may be substituted for the onion.

What is essential is that very slightly artificial tang, and the hint of grittiness. Served, of course, with chups.
