1999 has been remixed and released by many DJs, including Paul Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk, and at least 15 or 20 different versions can be found on Audiogalaxy. However, the best versions are:

  1. The original - short, simple, starts slow and builds up to a big shattering mad pumping wonderful sweaty climax like mother said you should never enjoy.
  2. The DuMonde remix - not quite so anthemic, but lasts 8 or 9 minutes and climaxes 3 times, like father was never able to.
