I recently saw Speilberg's documentary on the Shoah project as part of character research for the play And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the world of Anne Frank

The play is a drama written by James Still and intended for either 4 or 6 actors to portray 1940s versions of Ed (Helmuth Silverberg), Ed's parents, a Hitler Youth, Eva Geiringer, Heinz Geiringer, Eva's parents and Anne Frank. The scenes are punctuated and at times run concurrent with projected video imagery of interviews with Helmuth Silverberg and Eva Geiringer. At one point, the Eva character has a chilling dialogue with her older self on the scrim used for projection.
