Whistle Down The Wind is a
musical that opened on
July 1, 1998 and closed on
January 6, 2001 at
London’s
West End at the
Aldwych Theatre. In it’s original incarnation, directed by
Hal Prince, it played in
Washington D.C. and was supposed to open on
Broadway before playing in London, making it the first of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musicals to open in
America before
Britain since
Jesus Christ Superstar.
