Fry Street in Denton,Texas is the
University of North Texas's on campus equivilant of
Deep Ellum. Each building is beautifully decorated, generally hand painted by the
employees as many of them are art students at the University.
With concerts almost every weekend, generally local bands, though sometimes a big name or two drops in..., and enough bars to
wet your whistle regardless of your alcoholic taste (it's all here, trust me) Fry Street's probably the most happening place North of
Dallas (In
Texas that is :) ).
The only people that may wish to avoid Fry Street are those who share
Dennis Leary's outlook on
piercings,
tatoos and
coffee houses. Fortunately though, you will be able to find
beer flavored beer, so there
is something for everyone.
