1940 movie directed by Ernst Lubitsch and starring Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan.

Holiday movie set in a Budapest shop. Two sales clerks fall in love with each other, though they do not know it because they meet through a series of letters. Well written and well acted, it is among my favorite movies.

Remade twice:
In the Good Old Summer Time in 1949 starring Judy Garland and Van Johnson
You've Got Mail in 1989 starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan
