Mexican Elvis
A very strange hybrid of musical styles. El vez (Robert Lopez) sings in Spanish and English about Latino social and political issues, overlayed on spoofed songs from all areas of pop music, with an Elvis twang in his voice and on his guitar. The only album I own is Graciasland which has worked its way to my top select Deserted Island Discs status. Records on the Sympathy for the Record Industry label ("you've tried the rest, now go fuck yourself").
