Wanaka Beerworks in
Wanaka, a mountain resort on
New Zealand's South Island in Central
Otago. Tasting a bit like a
Koelsch and sporting its appropriate 4.8% alc/vol, this is probably one of the best beers brewed in the South
Pacific. Definitely best to have on a warm summer evening on a
beach, while dreaming next to your girlfriend and surrounded by friends.
On tab at the Criterion in Oamaru but also available via mail - order, this is one drink you should try as soon as you make it to N.Z.. Have one or even ten. Just don't go skiing after it...
